your privacy we provide this notice explaining our

used. To make this notice easy to find, we make it
available on our homepage and most pages in the
membership site.
Overall, we take
privacy very seriously. We use the information you
provide to complete the reports you request. In some
cases we use data for research, but never in a form
which would identify an individual.

submitted on the Developmental Discovery Membership
website. On some pages, you can register for features or
tools, order products, make requests, and register to
receive materials. The types of personal information
collected at these pages are:

On some pages, you can supply/submit information
about a child. For example, you could register for the
Developmental Checklist. In this circumstance, the types
of personal information collected might be:

Skype contact information Yahoo Messenger contact information Child's current state with respect to developmental
tasks Child's current behavior with respect to
developmental warning-signs (etc.)

The Way We Use Information:
Email Addresses: We use email addresses of members to answer the email
we receive and to send announcements about the
membership website to our members. Such addresses are
not used for any other purpose and are not shared with
outside parties.
Shipping Information: We use the information you provide about yourself
when placing an order only to complete that order. We do
not share this information with outside parties except
to the extent necessary to complete that order.
Aggregate Marketing Information: We use non-identifying and aggregate information to
better design our website and to share with advertisers.
For example, we may determine that X number of
individuals visited a certain area on our website, or
that Y number of people completed a registration form.
Individual Information: We would not disclose anything that could be used to
identify individual members or their children to anyone,
except to respond to an individual's request for
information or for an assessment. We use information provided about individual children
(from the Developmental Checklist, for example) only for
the composition of the reports we send, as requested by
the member.
Research: We may use non-identifying and aggregate
information for research purposes, which will be shared
with the membership. Except for the reports requested by
parents, no information which could identify an
individual is every used.
Summary: We never use or share the personally
identifiable information provided to us online in ways
unrelated to the ones described above.

Security
To prevent unauthorized access, maintain data
accuracy, and ensure the correct use of information, we
have put in place appropriate physical, electronic, and
managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the
information we collect online.

Our Commitment To Children's
Privacy
Protecting the privacy of children is especially
important for us. For that reason no part of our website
is structured to attract anyone under 13. No information
about a specific individual child is used or released
except for reports requested by that child's parent.
To further protect the information about individual
children, information in records about a specific child are maintained
in a separate part of our database from the information
in records
about children's developmental steps, tasks, or
behaviors.

How You Can Access Or
Correct Your Information
You can access all your
personally identifiable information that we collect
online and maintain by using the Account Management feature
which is available to our members. We use this procedure to better
safeguard your information.
To protect your privacy and security, we will also
take reasonable steps to verify your identity before
granting access or making corrections.
